No Rest for the Wicked

The first Wednesday brings with it IWSG. Thanks Alex Cavanaugh for hosting this great meme. Want to learn more about it, click here

July and August have been busy months for me. Work has been hectic. That can be good and bad, but when you add that to trying to get ready for a book release it sort of makes things crazy. And while there are plenty of things for me to stress over -- like I don't have my bookmarks, yet, and every time I check something off my To-do list I add two more things that need to get done -- I just don't have the time to worry. What will be will be, right? So I'm focusing on what I can control, which means I need to keep this post short, but before I go I'd like to share a few things with you...

You can find out why I'd want to be a detour over at Author Turf. I know you're curious.

And my publisher uploaded the Hold Tight book trailer to YouTube. So exciting!

And there are a few giveaways going on...

You can win an Embrace Swag Package that includes a series tote bag, the hemp bracelet from book one, and Madison's necklace in book two. Enter here

Omnific Publishing is giveaway three paperback copies of Hold Tight on Goodreads. Enter here.

And there is an eCopy of Embrace up for grabs at Martini Times. This giveaway ends today. Enter here.

Plus the Omnific Angels Tour is happening this week. Stop by Nicki Elson's blog for more details.

Happy August everyone!

  5. Two weeks and lots to do!! But it will all work out. My publisher finished my trailer last month but I know I won't see bookmarks until the week of my release. We'll both be all right.

  6. I feel like I could've written this post. :-) It's quite a challenge to get ready for a book release when your day job heats up too. I wish you lots of sleep tonight. :-)

  9. I made my own bookmarks -- although my books are eBooks! My best friend, Sandra, says only I would make bookmarks for books without pages!

I wish you luck on these hectic last 2 weeks. Thanks for visiting my blog and commenting! :-)

    1. I'm going to need to invest in a program the will allow me to save photo shopped images at a high dpi. The two I've used reduce the dpi to under 100 as soon as I crop the picture. And I think it's cool you have bookmarks for eBooks. They are still fun to collect.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting also!

  10. Hi, Cherie,

Take a DEEEEEEP breath! You'll be fine... Just tackle one situation at a time. Before you know it, you'll have accomplished everything.

ALL the best with your forthcoming book!
