  71. I really loved reading the Demonata series by Darren Shan. These books will scare the daylights out of you. I did not sleep for days after finishing each book off. It is quite the story line. I would highly recommend getting a hold of this series if you have not read it yet. If you have a week stomach I would rethink it though.

  81. Since I enjoy urban fantasy, dark fantasy, and paranormal all-year round, my reading habits differ little from usual, though I often re-read The Dracula Tapes, because it's a favorite. I love watching Young Frankenstein around Halloween, as well as Something Wicked This Way Comes; I also enjoy classic scary films, like The Birds and Rear Window. Halloween cartoon classics are popular in this house during October, too.
