I love this time of year! I enjoy watching Vincent Price movies like House on Haunted Hill around Halloween. Something about his voice gets me in a Spooky mood.

I really loved reading the Demonata series by Darren Shan. These books will scare the daylights out of you. I did not sleep for days after finishing each book off. It is quite the story line. I would highly recommend getting a hold of this series if you have not read it yet. If you have a week stomach I would rethink it though.

ReplyDeleteAt this time of year, I like to watch slasher horror films but when I watch movies with my grandma, we watch family friendly movies like Nightmare Before Christmas and The Addams Family.
ReplyDeleteSince I enjoy urban fantasy, dark fantasy, and paranormal all-year round, my reading habits differ little from usual, though I often re-read The Dracula Tapes, because it's a favorite. I love watching Young Frankenstein around Halloween, as well as Something Wicked This Way Comes; I also enjoy classic scary films, like The Birds and Rear Window. Halloween cartoon classics are popular in this house during October, too.
