Q: What would your prefer: reading your favorite book over and over again until you got sick of it OR reading 100s of mediocre books? And why?
This is a difficult question. I do have my favorite books. Ones I could read over and over again and never get tired of them. And as much as I love to revisit my favorite books, I'm going to have to say reading 100s of mediocre books, because in that stack of hundreds of books there is going to be my next favorite book. One I can safely add to my bookshelf and revisit again and again.
What do you think??
I agree good answer!

I agree! I had the most ridiculous argument with myself when trying to decide what to do as my answer, and I chose my favorite book, but I also would love to read 100s of mediocre books as well!

I took the question as it was certified that they were going to be mediocre, even though I do also hope to find that next great gem in my pile... XOXO - Parajunkee
ReplyDeleteI prefer a good book. In the process of finding that good one, we will find some bad ones,it is inevitable. Thanks for stopping by my blog, i'm a new follower.

You do make an interesting point! Some of us have to slug through loads of mediocre books just find our next favorites! This has happened a lot to me. Just as I'm about to hit a reading slump because I haven't read a book that really excites me, I find a gem in my TBR pile that resparks my passion for reading =]
ReplyDeleteValid point! :) Thanks for visiting the blog. Have a nice weekend.

ReplyDeleteGreat answer! And I agree - I love reading through book after book and eventually discovering a gem. New follower by the way :-)
ReplyDeletewe seem to be in the minority by picking the 100 books, most blogs i've read opted for the favourite which surprised me.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog. Have a great week. :D
I noticed that too, but I just can't see reading only a few books over and over again, even if they are my favorites.
