Is it a new month already?! #IWSG

Hi everyone!

Wow! It's hard to believe that another month has past. I was absent from the blog-sphere last month, and I do apologies. Because of busy schedules, I've been using the little free time I have to work on my novels. I'm hoping to catch up with my cyber friends this month.

The good things about today being the first Wednesday of the month, I have an excuse to take a break from everything to say hi to my followers and to visit my friends' blogs. My insecurity is just that I'm not sure when everything in my life will level out and I'll be able to go back to a calm, normal schedule. But, as my mom would say, this too shall pass. Man, I hope she's right!

Keeping writing and reading! And have a wonderful August!

Thanks to Alex and our co-hosts for keeping IWSG going. For those who aren't familiar with Insecure Writer's Support Group, just follow the link. It's a wonderful group.

  5. I was researching new blog hops and link ups yesterday and then realized this one was the next day! It sneaked up on me too. I also use this as my blogging day to catch up with other people's posts.

I'm glad you feel inspired. And why wouldn't someone want to read your words? Why is middle aged a dirty word--it's life experience. You've survived, you've perservered. And you're a mom. Congratulations on doing the hardest job on earth. Your role should be celebrated. I would much rather read words from an experienced mother than an entitled person with no life experience. Just saying.

Here is my August IWSG post. It's the second post on my blog today because my Pitch Wars mentor bio needs to stay at the top. Thanks!

  7. Hi, Cherie! Thank you for visiting my blog. :)

I think your mom is right. Everything passes eventually. And once it does, life is always better. Hang in there!

  9. Life is like a roller coaster ride. It's learning to enjoy the UPS and the downs that can be hard. And your mother's right, everything changes and this too shall pass. Thanks for stopping by my blog!

  10. "This too shall pass" has gotten me through many anxious brain moments.

  11. My mom always says that too. She also says, "It won't matter in a 100 years." I hope things do calm down for you. I think it's great that you chose writing over blogging when life got busy. That's the important thing.

  12. I get a bit depressed during August because I don't want it to end. I am enjoying the break to visit, read and hopefully make some new writing friends!

  15. Mom's know best, right? Thanks everyone for stopping by.

Bish, life can be a roller coaster. Right now I think I'm pushing the coaster up the hill. ;)
Jenni, your mom is right. 100 years from now it won't matter.
Nancy, I like to think there is a normal. And Thanks. :)
    Blogoratti, always a pleasure.

  16. Seriously - didn't you think that at this stage in our lives everything would be easy & calm? Ah well, at least it's not boring!

On a complete sidenote, I've started Netflixing Gilmore Girls and young Sam Winchester is in it! His character's name is Dean, hehe, and he's so damn adorable.

  17. Nicki, YES! but alas that isn't the case.

It would be fun to watch a young Sam Winchester, and it's too funny his name on the show was Dean.
